As we plan for our two Chicago North Side High School Nights in November, please tell us some of your favorite restaurants and delis in the old neighborhood and some of the foods that you liked best. We want your input as we develop some special menu items those two evenings. Example: BBQ beef sandwich on a sesame seed bun at Sally's on Western near Devon.

Bonfire on Lawrence and Kedzie had the best Hot Roast Beef and Mashed Potatoes. I hope that Max and Benny's will be serving it that night of the Roosevelt-Von Stueben event.
ReplyDeleteI remember that LaPetite, Western and Devon, had the best lemon merienge pie and Friedman's deli next to the Nortown Theater had the best latkes.
